Stationery Fest 2026

Heyyy!

I hope you had an amazing time at StationeryFest this year and I am so sorry we couldn't be there to meet you in person, event clashes and childcare issues got in the way. 

BUT we are both here now, so let me (re)introduce myself and tell you a little bit more about the business. 

I started Dook Plook Designs way back in 2015, when it was just one silhouette machine on my dining room table and a whole bunch of clipart. We have progressed a bit since then. In 2019 came the Gonk, our little character family that carried us through the next 6 years, our own office, staff, sold out advent calendars and some great friends. 

2024 and 2025 were tough years, I lost both my brother and Dad and with them a little bit of passion for creating, we coasted through but I knew my heart wasn't in it the same way any more. 

I knew I had to do something, so I started to draw again, not Gonks, but anything that took my fancy. I dabbled around with styles and techniques and started just having fun again. I quickly went back to my old style, very cartoony, bold outlines but with the added knowledge that I could draw whatever I wanted in the moment. 

Our vinyl stickers became more and more popular, my confidence grew, I found an absolute love of drawing cute items with faces on and I guess that's where we are now!

So first up PATREON - we have a great monthly happy mail club - I'll post a photo of this months mail (Retro Times) below. INSTAGRAM our social media got hacked this year (that was fun) however I took the loss as a sign from the universe that we are truly meant to be starting a fresh. WASHI TAPE You will have a got a tape in your bag - and I hope you really like it. As we move into our new era we are trying to shift all our old stock and make room for more vinyls! So all washi tape is reduced to just £1
